Susan received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from University of Pittsburgh, and she worked in many different areas of nursing. She started in oncology in 2003 and she is actually a leukemia survivor. Right after high school, Susan beat her cancer and she was determined to be as good of a nurse as the ones she had during her treatment. Susan feels that Oncology Consultants is unique for its many choices in physicians and locations. OC also offers research opportunities for patients which many private practices do not. The convenient pharmacy services are also unique and beneficial to our patients. The best part of Susan's work is when a patient tells her she has done a good job; the patients are the ones who matter the most in this healthcare profession.
